Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Your privacy matters to us. Here's what we collect, why, and what we do with it — in plain language.

What we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name you choose. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We never see or store your Google password.

Dot content

Anything you upload — photos, text, stories — is stored so we can display your dot on the wall and your story page. This content is public by design.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We only receive confirmation that a payment was successful.

Usage data

We collect basic analytics — page views and dot views — using anonymized data. We don't use third-party tracking scripts or sell your data to advertisers.

How we use your information

  • To display your dot and story page on the wall
  • To process payments and manage your account
  • To send important account-related emails (no marketing spam)
  • To moderate content and keep the community safe
  • To improve the site based on how people use it

What we don't do

  • Sell your personal information to anyone
  • Share your email with third parties for marketing
  • Track you across other websites
  • Use your content to train AI models

Your choices

You can set a display name instead of using your real name — your email is never shown publicly. You can edit or update your dot content at any time through your dashboard.

If you want to delete your account, contact us and we'll remove your data. Note that dots are permanent by design — if you need a dot removed, we'll handle it on a case-by-case basis.

Where your data lives

Your account data is stored in a secure database. Images are stored on Cloudflare's network. Payments go through Stripe. All connections use HTTPS encryption.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page. For significant changes, we'll let you know.
