Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

Welcome to DotOfLife. By using our site, you agree to these terms. We've kept them straightforward — no tricks, no surprises.

What you're buying

When you purchase a dot, you're buying a permanent spot on the DotOfLife wall. Your dot includes a visual presence on the grid and a dedicated story page. All sales are final — dots are non-refundable once placed.

Your content

You own what you upload. By posting content to DotOfLife, you grant us a license to display it on the wall, your story page, and in promotional materials (like social sharing previews). You can edit your story page at any time.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any images or text you upload. Don't post content that belongs to someone else without permission.

What's not allowed

We reserve the right to remove any dot that contains:

  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats
  • Sexually explicit or graphic violent content
  • Spam, scams, or misleading information
  • Content that violates someone else's rights
  • Anything illegal

All content goes through moderation before appearing on the wall. We may reject or remove dots that violate these guidelines without refund.

Credits

Credits are promotional balances granted at our discretion. They can be used toward dot purchases but have no cash value and are non-transferable. We may expire or revoke unused credits at any time.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

The service

We do our best to keep DotOfLife running and your dots visible, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided “as is.” We're a small project and we'll always be honest with you about what we can and can't promise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll do our best to let you know. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
